Here is a list of pages on Toxic Drums about charities and good causes. It is unfortunate that we have to make special arrangements for people to do genuinely beneficial things for life and the planet. But that is the way our culture works. It would be much better if doing good work were more profitable than doing crappy work in ones own self interest. But we have an economic model which works on the assumption that people are selfish and this leads to a situation where people have to be selfish to survive. Fortunately not all of us are comfortable with that and some of us would rather support good causes than live in luxury at others' expense. Here is a list of lots of good causes that Toxic Drums likes to promote.
