NDCS Challenges run challenge events to raise money for the National Deaf Children's Society. NDCS Challenges run individual and team charity challenge events in the UK and internationally to raise money for the National Deaf Children's Society. The NDCS are the only UK charity solely dedicated to the support of all deaf children, their families, and professionals working with them. The National Deaf Children's Society was started in London in December 1944 by a group of parents of deaf children. It started off as the Society of St. John of Beverley and became the NDCS in the mid 1950's. It has grown in size and influence since then and is very parent and family oriented in it's assistance and support for the rights, education and empowerment of deaf children. NDCS Challenges organise a range of activities from sky diving to the Three Peeks challenge. The do walks, marathons, cycling and more and they cover events from Kilimanjaro to the Sahara. If you want to organise a corporate event or a family or friends event take a look at the challenges available here and if you can't find what you are looking for they are always willing to talk and to see how they might help.
