BETFAIR! The clue is in the name. It's a fair bet. But what exactly is a fair bet? Okay so that is a rhetorical question. But the implications of the name are that this is a fair betting site. I can't say whether it is a fair bet or not. Only you can decide for yourself. Not that I would encourage anyone to bet. Well that's not true really. I do a bit of betting myself. Sometimes I win and sometimes I loose.

Betfair is apparently the world’s largest betting exchange and UK’s busiest online betting company. Customers bet against other customers and not against the house or bookie prices. Because of this, they can offer on average 20% higher odds. On Betfair one can back a selection to win or lose, and what’s even more exciting, there’s in-play betting "right through to the final whistle". A betting exchange is a bookie which uses technology and the market to make sure the customer gets a better price. It does that by reducing it's risk, which means it doesn't have to build in extra margin as a safety cushion. The effect is that punters bet on the price they want, and not the price they're told they can have.
